Pursuant to a notice posted on March 3, 2023, and permission granted on March 8, 2023, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on Corrections met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Herrero, at 9:02 a.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Herrero; Kacal; Allen; Jones, Venton; Lopez, Ray; Murr; Sherman, Sr.; and Toth.
