Pursuant to a notice posted on May 4, 2023, the House Committee on Homeland Security & Public Safety met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Guillen, at 9:02 p.m.

 

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Guillen; Johnson, Jarvis; Dorazio; Goodwin; Harless; Holland; and Troxclair.

 

A quorum was present.

 


 

The chair directed that the April 11, 2023, April 26, 2027 and the April 27, 2023 minutes for the House Committee on Homeland Security & Public Safety be corrected. The corrected minutes were authorized without objection.

Representative Harless moved to reconsider the vote by which the measure was reported from committee.  The motion to reconsider prevailed without objection.
