Pursuant to a notice posted on August 28, 2025, the House Committee on Elections met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Shaheen, at 11:18 a.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Shaheen; Isaac; Swanson; Toth; and Wilson.

A quorum was present.

The chair laid out HB 18 as pending business.

The chair moved that HB 18, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
