Pursuant to a notice posted on September 1, 2025, and permission granted on August 28, 2025, to meet while the House was in session, the House Committee on House Administration met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Geren, at 6:32 p.m.

The initial quorum call was answered as follows: Representatives Geren; Cole; Button; Darby; Harless; King; Meyer; and Moody.

A quorum was present.

HR 128

The chair laid out HR 128.

The discussed the resolution.

The chair moved that HR 128, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed.  The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

Ayes:                           Representatives Geren; Button; Darby; Harless; King; Meyer (6).

Nays:                           Representatives Cole; Moody (2).

Present, Not Voting:   None (0).

Absent:                        Representatives Martinez; Reynolds; Talarico (3).

At 6:42 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
