COMMITTEE: Disaster Preparedness & Flooding, Select TIME & DATE: 9:00 AM, Wednesday, July 23, 2025 PLACE: E1.030 |
The Senate and House Select Committees on Disaster Preparedness and Flooding will meet jointly to hear invited testimony regarding:
· the state’s response to the July 4 flash flooding in Central and West Texas; · state disaster preparations and response capabilities, generally; · state flood planning and flood infrastructure; · river authority operations in Flash Flood Alley; and · first responder communications during disaster operations.
Testimony will be limited to invited witnesses only.
